US: Factory orders, durable goods order and ISM data in focus - TDS

Research Team at TDS, suggests that data flow will start the week at a tepid pace with the release of several low-tier indicators.

Key Quotes

“Factory orders are expected to partially unwind the 1.9% m/m advance in April; TD looks for a 1.2% m/m contraction, worse than the –0.8% m/m consensus. No change is expected to the initial –2.2% print for May’s durable goods orders by either TD or the wider market while the ex-transportation figure is also expected to remain unrevised at –0.3% m/m. Rounding out the calendar are ISM New York for June and a speech by NY Fed President Dudley, which will take place at 14:30 ET in New York.”
