Day ahead, Yellen is back - Westpac

Analyst at Westpac noted the key events for the day ahead.

Key Quotes:

"Hong Kong reopens after the lunar new year but China and Taiwan remain closed and Japan is closed for a one-off holiday. The Asia calendar is thin, limited to the Philippines central bank (BSP) policy announcement. All forecasters expect rates to remain steady at 4.0% in the Philippines, which has seen very strong growth recently.

Fed chair Yellen appears for the second day of her semi-annual testimony, this time before the Senate Banking Committee. As the prepared text was released yesterday, they will proceed straight to Q&A at 10am NY. There is low risk of a large market response given the lengthy questioning yesterday."
