Russia’s gold reserves rise to 40.2mn oz as of June 1

FXStreet (Mumbai) - As reported by Reuters, Russia's gold reserves rose to 40.2 million troy ounces as of June 1 compared with 40.1 million troy ounces a month earlier, the central bank said on Friday.

The value of its holdings fell to $47.88 billion from $48.29 billion a month earlier, it said in a statement on its website.
