EUR/DKK stabilizing around 4.4450

FXStreet (Edinburgh) - The Danish krone is posting marginal losses vs. the euro on Friday, taking EUR/DKK to the area of 7.4440/50.

EUR/DKK back from 7.45

The cross has retraced yesterday’s spike to the boundaries of 7.4500 following another CD rate cut by the Denmarks Nationalbank (DB), taking the rate deeper into the negative territory to -0.75%. The central bank remains firm in its defense of the EUR/DKK peg, leaving on the table the likeliness of further intervention in order to discourage further appreciation of the krone.

EUR/DKK is now up 0.01% at 7.4445.
