USD/CHF rises above 0.9450 on ECB speculation

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The Swiss franc plummeted across the board after Reuters reported that the European Central Bank (ECB) could start buying corporate bonds as soon as December.

USD/CHF jumped quickly from 0.9420 to 0.9461 in a few minutes, reaching a fresh daily highs. Currently remains near the highs as the Swissy hits fresh lows across the board. Earlier the pair bottomed slightly below 0.9400 but the area around 0.9395 (Oct 16 low) capped the downside.

The euro also fell in the market after the ECB speculation about another purchase program, but the decline of the Swiss franc was larger. EUR/CHF recently reached fresh daily highs at 1.2072 while GBP/CHF rose above 1.5270.
